A Share of Tzulong Dharma Text

A talented person will naturally have food to eat for the interim when celebrating the New Year.

Looking at the plums and the blue skies, I see the ripe plums hanging on the branches.

Clothing and food are used to sustain life.

Benevolence is hidden in my sleeves.

My incense bag is filled with kindness and justice.

I stand upright in the Main Hall.

I gallop round and round without stopping.

There is not a wise person to show me the way.

If some passion in my heart is extinguished, thousands of layers of thought waves will cease together.

A good moral quality is like delicate gold or jade that has been refined in the blaze.  If you want to accomplish great merits, you have to walk through thin ice first.

If people want to cultivate the path, they will meet no obstacles in whatever they do.

If people often check their own faults, they are close to the path.

In Buddhism, the cultivation of Samadhi is called Pause and View which is to subdue false thoughts, make the innate nature manifest, or brighten the mind and make practitioners see the nature.

If your mind is not purified yet, the place you dwell in will be impure.  As long as you purify your mind, all karmas will naturally become empty.   Hear sutras and mantras and your wondrous mind will suddenly be enlightened.  Don't give rise to a thought, and the Dharma body will universally manifest.  With the Buddha's might, all dharmas will arise from none-arising.

We should be patient in doing everything, and cultivate tolerance to give rise to compassion.

When encountering situations, we should be able to change them with a firm mind and without hindrances.

If we can endure pains and realize the truth, we are cultivating the real practice of merits.

Even though wonderfully described as 

a growing tree, the Big Four (Earth, Water, Fire, and Wind that together make up the human body and everything) will all fade away.

I openly reveal my genuine personality and sit straight in the main hall.

Tea is steamed melodiously.

Hundreds of people in the monastery all cultivate the teachings of the Tian Tai School.

When one is destitute and frustrated, he will sigh at the affairs of the world.

A wealthy and noble life is like a dream and is always lived in vain.

Even if one asks for a transient blessing and has received it, he may have passed away.

Great wealth and high positions are like a mid-night dream. 

All things that one relies on is illusory.

Don’t laugh at the dhuta painting that is not lifelike enough.

It was intentionally done by combining the summer scenery with the early spring one.

Who knows that the wealthy and noble salt dealer was originally a Buddhism expounder!

I open the eyes of right dharmas and

fiddle with the musical instrument without a string.

I am aware that the flowers are blooming in the void.

The lamps of the mind are radiant everywhere.

There are so many sufferings that are like dreams.

The deluded live an illusory and painful life.

Although all dharmas are false, to create bad karmas cannot be tolerated.

Having returned to the primary, one has no self-awareness,

and knows no differences between existence and non-existence.

Established principles are replete with compassion and wisdom.

Justice and benefits are raised in emptiness.

All kinds of goodness are constructed in the skies.

All kinds of wisdom arise from the nature.

Bright virtues are greatly practiced.

The Buddha Moon shines widely and universally.
